The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and hard-working individual to join our Transition Team in the role of Learning Spaces Planning Support.

London College of Communication – part of University of the Arts London – is very excited to be in the process of constructing a cutting-edge new building, across the road from our current site in Elephant & Castle – due to open in September 2027.

Our Transition Team will be working with the building’s design and construction teams who are leading on the construction and fit out; and with the college’s staff to prepare for the move.

You will help to facilitate the transition of all building users (students and staff) into the new building, ensuring they can make the best use of the wonderful facilities and environment. Specifically, you will ensure that current activities are implemented into the future spaces, working with the timetabling team to prepare a working timetable for the new building in time for the opening.

In addition to this, you will support the Transition Team as they engage with users in preparation for the transition and execution of the move over the summer of 2027.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you are a good communicator, who is able to understand complexity, can summarise a problem and produce possible solutions. You are skilled in Excel and the rest of the Office 365 suite to enable best use of available information and communications.
