The Role:

Are you a proactive and well-organised individual seeking an engaging role in a dynamic educational setting? Westminster Adult Education Service is looking for an Executive Support Officer to join our dedicated team.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide personal and confidential administrative support to the office of the Principal and Executive Board.
  • Maintain and plan the diary of the Principal ensuring all arrangements/facilities for meetings are organised efficiently and that papers for such meetings are available in good time. Take minutes from various Committees
  • Draw up agendas in consultation with the Principal, taking notes of meetings as required and progressing follow-up actions for the Executive Board members.
  • To liaise with stakeholders such as the Board of Governors, college staff and external agencies on behalf of the Principal.
  • Sensitively manage incoming communications including correspondence, reports and other information, prioritising in terms of importance and urgency for the Principal redirecting as necessary,
  • Plan travel arrangements for the Principal and other Executive Board members for external meetings and events as required
  • To carry out the above duties within the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organisational and time-management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
