You will be part of the Scientific Instrumentation and Process Technology (SIPT) unit which is focusing its RDI activities on new instrumentation, processes and methodologies in the fields of nano-analytics and thin film processing. The RDI chain of the SIPT unit spans from fundamental science all the way up to industrial scale demonstrators. Particularly, the researcher will be integrated into the Advanced Instrumentation for Nano-Analytics (AINA) group https://www.list.lu/en/materials/scientific-instrumentation-and-process-technology/group/advanced-instrumentation-for-nano-analytics/
The AINA group focuses on the development of scientific instruments based on charged particle beams and laser beams and correlative workflows taking advantage of these instruments. The group’s R&D activity covers fundamental investigations, instrument development and application development. We are a multi-disciplinary team giving the group the complete spectrum of know-how that is required to convert innovative ideas and concepts into prototype instruments.
