You will have experience in experimental ultrafast lasers and optics, and possibly in one or more of terahertz time domain techniques, electron beam dynamics or laser driven particle acceleration. Training and expertise in areas other than the candidate’s principal expertise will be available to support the post.

You will join a group of researchers from Lancaster Physics, Lancaster Engineering and Manchester Physics departments engaged in a wider programme of laser and terahertz driven particle acceleration.
