It forms the core of a wider academic-industry University of Exeter initiative to form a Critical Minerals Centre of Excellence. Academic disciplines represented in this Centre include geology, mining and minerals engineering, sustainable finance, circular economy, social sciences and ecology, and this will grow as the Centre develops.
