Solihull College are looking for a lecturer who can deliver painting and decorating and/or DIY skills to adult learners, equipping them with fundamental skills and knowledge of the trade. Delivery will be at our Woodlands Campus on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening between 6:30pm and 9pm.
Possessing extensive experience of painting/decorating or DIY such as Carpentry and Plastering. You will have excellent communication skills, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. You will be required to deliver all programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately success.
You must hold or be prepared to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification. You will also be an excellent administrator, well organised and able to meet deadlines.
