About the Role
The School of the Arts is looking to appoint an experienced Education and Quality Officer to support a wide range of programmes and courses, that include Language Learning, Year Abroad, Pre-sessional, In-sessional, Foundation, BA, MA and PhD degrees. This is a key role, involving involve significant contact with students, academic and professional staff across various Queen Mary departments and Schools. This is a fixed-term post available as a secondment cover.
You will be part of a team which proactively manages administrative processes relating to student data within the School, module registration, timetabling, quality assurance and providing advice and guidance to students and advisors about School and University policies and procedures.
About You
You must hold a degree or equivalent experience. Experience of administering teaching activities within Higher Education is essential, as is experience of working with large student databases and Virtual Learning Environments.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and a high level of accuracy in your work. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and to use your strong interpersonal skills to deal professionally with people at all levels.

The School of the Arts is a newly created School within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
