At Leeds Trinity University, we aspire to make a difference to the people, the professions and the places that we serve, and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our University community. We are ranked top in Yorkshire for learning community and pride ourselves on being the University where our students are a name, not just a number. The University has a distinctive, employability-focused educational offer and works closely with employers to address the skills needs of today’s workforce. Applications are invited for the following post:
Hours of Work: Part Time (hourly basis)
Contract type: Fixed Term to June 2025
Salary: Visiting Lecturer rate is £43.20 per hour (plus £7.70 per hour holiday pay). Marking only rate is £20.33 per hour (plus £3.05 per hour holiday pay).
We are looking to recruit Visiting Lecturers on an hourly-paid basis to provide short-term cover in Educational Psychology.
The programme management, programme/module development and review and enhancement to improve the student experience and employability will sit alongside a lecturing role. The role will typically also involve developing and advising others, including providing expert advice and advising others on learning and teaching tasks and methods in the subject area.
We are particularly looking for an HCPC registered professional with extensive practitioner experience.
As we grow our Psychology provision, we have an exciting opportunity for new colleagues to join the lecturing team in the specialist area of Educational Psychology.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
Closing date for applications: 01.11.24.
Interviews for this post are expected to take place on 08.11.24.
If you have any queries about the application process, please email jobs@leedstrinity.ac.uk or call 0113 283 7130.
