University Catering and Hospitality Services operates a range of retail catering across campus, and an extensive range of hospitality services.
Cloth Hall Court provides an exceptional conferencing experience in the heart of the city. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team working to deliver an excellent standard of food and beverage provision with an enthusiastic, reliable and confident approach. As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for a variety of duties including operating the dishwasher, cleaning heavy duty kitchen equipment and the fabric of the kitchen, manual washing of pans and equipment, and waste disposal duties. You will ensure the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure our standards are met and are adhered to at all times.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, worked 5 days over 7, usually between the hours of 7am and 11pm. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business including working regularly on main campus, and working weekends, bank holidays and closure days as and when required, with time in lieu to balance.
