Section Manager - Business - Level 1 and Level 2 Programmes

Reporting to the Head of School for Business, as Section Manager you would lead and manage Level 1 and Level 2 provision in the Business School. You would provide leadership for a team of Lecturers, manage study programmes, develop provision across the Section and teach across a range of programmes according to your specialism. You would also continue to increase and develop our links with employers, which are integral to successful student work placements and course enrichment.

You will need to possess a relevant degree or equivalent level professional qualification and a teaching qualification (PGCE/DET or equivalent), and have at least three years’ successful teaching experience, preferably in Further Education, including leading/supervising others. You will also have some curriculum co-ordination and development experience, a good understanding of quality assurance and experience of improving teaching, learning and assessment.
