About the Role
Queen Mary University of London is embarking on a project to implement a curriculum management technology solution. This solution will manage the curriculum from development to publication and will act as a central repository for all information on the University’s educational provision.
The postholder will provide technical expertise to support the migration of data from the University’s student records system (SITS) to the curriculum manager solution. They will also use their knowledge of the curriculum and understanding of academic quality and standards processes to support change management in the use of the solution. The role forms a key component of the project team and requires a collaborative approach to ensure that the curriculum management solution delivers maximum benefit for the University.
About You
We are looking for a technical expert with significant experience of the academic model within a student records system and an understanding of change management within a higher education context. Ideally, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
As an excellent communicator, you will be comfortable working with a diverse range of academic and professional colleagues in a variety of settings, including running workshops, supporting users one-to-one to reporting on progress, and providing written and verbal reports to the Project Board. We also expect you to have some project / delivery management experience, tracking and monitoring tasks and managing risks and issues.
