The Faculty of Law, Business, and Government at the Francisco de Vitoria University is dedicated to promoting the global common good through training, research, and societal impact. The Faculty integrates undergraduate, master's, and continuing education studies and includes an applied research unit, the Center for the Global Common Good, and a unit for training political, business, and civil society leaders - the School of Government and Leadership “Isabel la Católica.”  

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Professor of Business Theory and Management with a strong research background in corporate governance, business theory, and/or people management. The candidate will join an interdisciplinary team working on the Validation of the Consagrated Enterprise Model (HWAW) and the Person-Centered Business Model (MCEP), contributing to both theoretical development and empirical validation of these models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in Business Theory, particularly focused on the Consagrated Enterprise Model (TEC) and its implementation through the HWAW model.
  • Analyze and validate business management models like the Person-Centered Business Model (MCEP), comparing them with other prevalent theories and models.
  • Design and implement measurement instruments for empirical validation of business models, contributing to fieldwork and data collection.
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business theory, management, and related fields, incorporating innovative and experiential learning methods.
  • Mentor students, contribute to their academic and personal growth, and support the development of the Faculty’s curriculum.
  • Engage with international academic and business communities to promote the internationalization of the Faculty. 

Requirements

  • A PhD in Business Administration, Management, Organizational Behavior, or a closely related field.
  • A proven record of high-quality research, including publications in indexed journals, in areas such as Business Theory, corporate governance, or people management.
  • Experience in empirical research and the development of measurement tools for validating business models.
  • Excellent teaching skills with a focus on innovative and experiential learning methods, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary research groups and projects.
  • A commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Francisco de Vitoria University.
  • High proficiency in English (C2 level or equivalent), demonstrated through teaching or research experience in English-speaking academic environments.
  • An international profile with experience in global academic contexts.

Compensation Package

The compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the experience and level of excellence of the selected candidate. The package will include relocation costs (if applicable), life and health insurance, among other benefits.
