This new full – time post is available from the 6th of January 2025 on a permanent basis.

Summary of the role
We are recruiting for a newly revitalised Academic Skills Team, based in the Library. We have some exciting new posts available for skilled professionals as well as aspiring Academic Skills specialists, looking for an opportunity to develop or enhance their capabilities. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with keen and wide-ranging interests in supporting development of academic/digital skills.
Working as a team, the Academic Skills Advisers lead on the design, development and delivery of activities to support students to build and enhance the skills they need to succeed in their studies and in the workplace. With all activity aligned closely to the University’s Access and Participation Plan, the team achieves this via teaching and individual support, leveraging technology to provide the most up to date and impactful pedagogy.
