About the Role
We are seeking two Research Assistants to join Professor Davis’s and Dr Santos’s T-cell Biology Group. The successful applicant will join a dynamic and successful team exploiting cell surface molecules for the development of novel immunotherapies in autoimmunity and cancer, established at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine at Oxford University. They will work as part of the research group, which brings together scientists with the objective of applying fundamental research in molecular immunology to the understanding and control, in therapeutic settings, of human immune responses, via the actions of cell surface molecules. The post holders will have responsibility for the provision of research support for a large project whose focus is the downstream signalling effects of T-cell surface proteins, principally using imaging-based methods. The post holder will provide advice and guidance to research students where appropriate. Professor Davis and Dr Santos would especially like to hear from candidates who are interested in exploring the role of Research Assistant as a career.
