We are looking to expand our team with inspirational Associate Lecturers (ALs) who have a passion for delivering high quality learning experiences and exceptional student support gained through teaching, relevant industry experience or both. You will join our Allied Health Professions team situated in the School of Health and Social care to contribute to our mission to transform the lives of our students.

We would expect you to have strong technical skills, an understanding of developments within the service sector and a solid understanding of current trends and impacts.

You may be currently working in a relevant industry and/or have spent time working in a relevant industry and may be interested in combining this with your enthusiasm and ability to pass on your knowledge and experience by creating and delivering high quality learning, teaching, and assessment.

  • Allied Health Professions healthcare and integrated working
  • Research and knowledge exchange
  • Service evaluation and project/thesis supervision (a PhD is required for this specific role)
  • Academic, publication and thesis writing

You may be asked to teach modules to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, usually through either a lecture or tutorial format, and will also contribute to the design of some learning activities and assessments. Dissertation supervision may also be part of your role.
