The School of Life Sciences (SoLS), University of Nottingham seeks to make a permanent teaching and curriculum leadership appointment of an Assistant Professor in Neuroscience.
International applicants are welcome. We are looking for an outstanding educator and scientist, with an ambitious vision, who is passionate about teaching and has a collegial attitude. Your teaching will encompass a range of areas within neuroscience, neuropharmacology, neurophysiology and will be delivered to students at all levels on the neuroscience degrees and other related subjects.
You will have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant neuroscience subject area and a successful track record of achievement in education. You will have experience teaching at Higher Education level with the ability to communicate with clarity on complex and conceptual ideas in a variety of formats and using a range of media. We seek applicants who are student focussed and committed to fostering an inclusive working culture and to the effective functioning of our school.

The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week) permanent basis, Job share arrangements may be considered.
