Applications are invited for the following post:
Professional Placements Administrator
Hours of work: Part-time (0.6FTE)
Contract type: Fixed term until 31/07/2025
Salary: The starting salary will be from £23,144 up to £24,533 per annum (pro rata) in Grade 4, depending on qualifications and experience
Working in our Professional Placements Team, this role will contribute to our strategic aim to be a career-led University, ensuring we develop our learners for careers of the future. With every undergraduate degree programme including a compulsory placement and work-based learning opportunities throughout, this unique feature provides an exciting opportunity to join the team as we grow and enhance our current provision.
Acting as the first point of contact for students, academics, and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality support for Professional Placements at Leeds Trinity University. You will respond to queries via phone, email, and MS Teams, signposting or escalating complex matters, and provide support at the Careers+Placements counters. This role requires excellent communication skills, initiative, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support for a variety of placement activities, from advertising opportunities and organising interviews to processing placement records and payments. You’ll also ensure student resources are regularly reviewed and updated, create communications for placements and opportunities, and contribute to improving our systems and processes. Working closely with students, employers, and colleagues, you’ll help maintain our placement management system and contribute to broader university events like Open Days and Graduation ceremonies.
With strong administrative and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, you will have a passion for student success and an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and networks.
This advert will close as soon as we receive a suitable number of applications.
