What you will do
The ideal candidate
We know many people won't apply for a role unless they meet every part of a job. If you are excited by the opportunities of this role, but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every requirement, you should still apply; you may be the right candidate.
We recognise that a team with varied backgrounds and experiences produces better solutions for use in teaching and learning on a global campus and a more supportive workplace. We are particularly keen to receive applications from groups who are currently underrepresented within our team, such as people from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
What we can offer
As a university, we are committed to providing employment packages whilst supporting the well-being of our staff. As a university employee, you will have a choice of benefits and rewards, including access to fitness and health facilities, staff discount and travel schemes, a generous holiday allowance (plus additional university closure days) and a pension scheme.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term contract until 31 July 2025. Job share opportunities may be considered.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Nigel Owen, Associate Director Learning Technology, email: nigel.owen@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
Your application will be considered on an equal basis, subject to the relevant permission to work in the UK as set out by UK Visas & Immigration.
