The Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) is recruiting invigilators to support the running of all exams and assessments in the School. This includes written exams, practical exams, supporting students with specific requirements and helping support candidate interview days for new students.
The task of the KMMS invigilation team is to ensure that KMMS assessments run as smoothly and efficiently as possible and in accordance with KMMS regulations, policies, and procedures.
Invigilators are engaged on a temporary basis. The rate of pay for an invigilator is £12.34 per hour. Please note, these are not substantive University appointments and invigilators are only required to carry out invigilation shifts at certain points during the academic year. Selected applicants will be required to attend a training session in order to be offered invigilator work.

Important: Only external applicants (non-student) or Postgraduate Research students may apply. Undergraduate students and Postgraduate Taught students will not be considered.

Applications from current postgraduate research students will only be considered if the KMMS receives a character reference from their tutor/supervisor. This reference must be hand-signed, written on the School’s letter-headed paper, and emailed to assessment@kmms.ac.uk by the closing date.
