Student Systems Team – Student Administration & Academic Affairs
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Systems Team at the University of Southampton, leading the provision of specialist change management support on the University’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Programme. With a focus on effective stakeholder engagement and communication, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues across the institution to shape the future of this critical systems programme.
About the Role
For this role, we are seeking someone with the skills and expertise to lead on the change management strategy for this programme as it embarks on the next phase of developing a CRM system that aligns with the needs of our student lifecyle.
Your responsibilities will include establishing collaborative networks and working closely with the Student Systems team, our IT department (iSolutions), professional service teams and academic stakeholders across the university to lead the development and delivery of an effective business change strategy.
The role is a 12 month fixed term contract, reporting to the Head of Business Change and Project Support.
About You
You will have experience in all aspects of change management, including process re-engineering, development of change management plans, impact assessment, business engagement, and training needs analysis.
You will have a track record of establishing effective networks and working collaboratively to lead and drive change within large projects, programmes or organisations to deliver long-term, strategically aligned outcomes.
You will have a highly professional approach, be able to work with staff at all levels using a range of strategies to remove obstacles and support staff, resulting in positive and successful change. You will demonstrate excellent direct and indirect communication skills appropriate for a wide cross-section of stakeholders and be well organised with strong attention to detail.
