The Department of Accounting and Finance is seeking to appoint a Department Manager to provide high level support across the department’s portfolio of teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, ambitious professional to play a key role in the management and growth of the Department. The postholder will have lead responsibility for the operational activities within the Department.
As a member of the Department Management Team, the Department Manager will contribute to departmental strategy and take a leading role in the implementation of this strategy, ensuring that the department has effective support in terms of resource and procedures. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Department (HoD) to manage and oversee budgets, deliver strategic projects, and drive forward process improvement.
