Research Assistant in Chemical Biology

We are looking for a motivated scientist to join the protein research group at Cardiff.

Interested applicants should have a first degree in chemistry and a preferably a PhD in protein chemistry, enzymology/biocatalysis, or a closely related area, and experience of molecular cloning, protein cyclisation, bioanalytical characterization, enzyme handling and enzyme kinetics.

This position is full time (35 hours per week) and is available from 1st December 2024 for 3 months.

Salary: £32,332 - £34,980 per annum (Grade 5). We do not anticipate that an appointment be made above £32,982 (Grade 5.26)
