London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Head of Space and Workplace Transformation. The purpose of the role is to lead, develop, and manage the LSBU Group's approach to space management and workplace transformation. This senior leadership position is responsible for optimizing the use of physical space across the LSBU Group campuses and driving innovative approaches to create dynamic and engaging environments.
The postholder will shape the future of the LSBU's physical environment, enhancing the overall experience for students and staff. They will develop strategies and implement initiatives to optimize space efficiency and promote innovative work practices. Creating an environment that supports teaching, learning, research, and administrative activities, while also considering sustainability, inclusivity, and flexibility.
The post holder will align space management strategies with the university's strategic goals. They will oversee workplace change and move projects and space allocation processes understanding and conveying new legal requirements and their implications to the organisation to ensure effective utilisation of resources and compliance with regulations and benchmarks. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, the postholder will drive workplace innovation and champion best practices in space management and workplace design.
