The Role:

As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will support our recruitment strategies by engaging with prospective students, representing GIS at recruitment events, and building strong relationships with students and educational partners. You’ll play a key role in executing recruitment campaigns, managing our CRM system, and driving student engagement across various communication platforms such as email, social media, and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective students globally through email, phone, and social media, maintaining a high level of interaction using our CRM system.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective students, providing them with information about our courses, admissions, scholarships, and university life through 1-to-1 consultations.
  • Represent GIS at virtual and in-person events such as open events, school visits, recruitment fairs, and webinars.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations to prospective students and key influencers, both online and in person.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recruitment campaigns in collaboration with Recruitment Managers and the Marketing team.
  • Help create, distribute and manage recruitment materials (e.g., flyers, prospectuses, digital content) tailored to different audience segments.
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment data to provide insights and recommendations for refining recruitment strategies.
  • Work with international offices and external recruitment agencies to support student recruitment in the US, Australia, and other key regions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.


Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Business, Education, Communications, or Sports Management.
  • Proven experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a similar customer-facing role preferably within education or the sports industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating with diverse audiences.
  • A track record of working towards targets or KPIs, with proven success in recruitment or sales roles.
