ABOUT US
Transforming lives through excellent education
London Met is an extraordinary institution. Equity and social inclusion have always been our driving principles, and it's what makes the University so unique. Our organisation is distinctive, both in its eclectic and diverse community of students and staff, and also for its historical role in serving some of London’s most deprived boroughs. Everything we do is underpinned by our philosophy that an individual should have the opportunity to transform their life through the power of education.
Equipping our students with the tools for their future is at the heart of our academic offering. We pride ourselves on providing our students with access to a wealth of opportunities and professions. Our graduates benefit personally, but also contribute their unique perspectives to society, culture, public service and the economy in all areas of London, the UK and around the world.
ABOUT THE POST
We are looking for someone to join the Timetabling team in the Academic Operations part of newly refreshed Academic Registry. The role will support our Timetabling function for London Met, and will include working with module and course requirements to support the allocation of rooms for our on-campus teaching delivery throughout the year, as well as some work on ad hoc and one-off bookings for non-teaching activity.
You will be digitally literate and ideally have experience of working on managing complex information on a digital system. Experience of timetabling or room allocation would be beneficial but not essential. You will ideally have experience of dealing with large information sets, as well as good attention to detail. You will also need to work flexibly and collaboratively with staff across London Met, sometimes under pressure at key points in the academic year.
Ref: 24SSERV1003
Closing Date: Monday, 28th October 2024.
