UONL, a partner of the University of Northampton, is an ambitious, teaching-focused provider of undergraduate education, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience. Based at London’s East India Docks, UONL’s campus currently delivers courses related to Business, Health and Social Care, Psychology and Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Continued growth in demand for our student-centred courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of sessional and full-time lecturers. We are especially looking for a sessional EAP lecturer, to be able to deliver academic skills modules.
If you are enthusiastic and motivated about your subject and supporting students to develop their academic skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at the University.
You will have a good first degree, and ideally either appropriate postgraduate qualifications (DELTA, or MA ELT/ Applied Linguistics), or other relevant teaching qualifications. Experience of teaching at Foundation level will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
