We are seeking to appoint an IT and AV Officer to lead and provide IT/AV support for teaching and administrative activities taking place in the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre (MSTC), South Parks Road.
This is a wide-ranging role and you will manage the MSTC teaching network, its associated servers, and AV equipment which is used by staff from various University departments who use the teaching facilities.
The Centre contains approximately 90 PCs running teaching software and specialist programmes for data collection and handling in experiments. There is also state-of-the-art digital audio-visual equipment for lectures and seminars, teaching microscopy, and hybrid facilities.
Working with colleagues across the collegiate University, this role offers an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills in IT infrastructure support, and general IT/AV service provision. In order to be successful in this role you will be a strong team player with the drive to engage with users of the MSTC to provide a first-rate customer-focussed service. You will also possess the technical skills to provide support, and implement service improvements.

This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday on site) and fixed term until April 2025 in the first instance.
