Applications are invited for a Senior Research Associate for the Pandemic Risk Management Programme. The successful candidate will pursue high-quality research on the social determinants of engineered pandemic risk. This could include a focus on motivations, insitutions, and public policy. The successful candidate will work independently at the intersection of research and application, working to further knowledge in this area, identifying new challenges as they emerge. The appointee will either already be established as an independent researcher or will be encouraged to use this position as an avenue to develop as an independent researcher

Applicants must have been awarded a PhD in a relevant specialist area, including but not limited to risk studies, science and technology studies, epidemiology and molecular biology. Candidates with relevant experience working in the fields of science policy and risk studies are highly desired.

The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance. The post is available full time or part time. Working arrangements in terms of in-office or from home can be discussed.
