Selwyn College wishes to appoint a Deputy Conference and Events Manager to join the College's friendly Conference and Events team. With its beautiful, historic setting, combined with modern meeting and events facilities, Selwyn College prides itself on the high standard of service we provide to our academic community and guests. This role is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced professional who would welcome the opportunity to develop these services further.

You will work with the team to maximise sales opportunities and income on a day-to-day basis, while at the same time working with other departments and colleagues across the College to ensure the highest standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times, for both internal and external events. You will develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, and possess the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide variety of people.

Working closely with the Conference and Events Manager, you will lead by example and in their absence assume line management responsibility for the Senior Conference and Events Coordinator, Internal Conference & Events Coordinator, Catering and Events Administrator, Conference and Events Facilities and AV Supervisor and Assistant.
