Introducing the International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation:
This year marks an exciting new chapter with the launch of the International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation (ICPI)—a groundbreaking collaboration between RCSI and Soochow University in China. ICPI is a beacon of educational excellence, combining the strengths of two world-class institutions to cultivate the next generation of pharmacy, pharmaceutical, and biomedical science professionals. Located on Soochow University’s cutting-edge Future Campus, ICPI offers students the unique opportunity to earn dual degrees, awarded by both RCSI and Soochow University.
We intend to deliver three programmes, currently running in Dublin in the School of Pharmacy & Biomolecular Sciences (PBS), namely, BSc Pharmacy (BSc Pharm), BSc Applied Therapeutic Technologies (BSc ATT) & MSc Research, all of which commence in September 2024.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer whi is not only passionate about teaching & researching, but who would also like to experience working in a multicultural and international environment and in so doing, join a growing team of academics working on this exciting collaboration.
Your Impact:
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at ICPI, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our cutting-edge curriculum. You’ll inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods and be instrumental in advancing research that addresses the evolving challenges in healthcare.
What You’ll Do:
The structure of the roles will provide you with ample opportunity to also develop and grow your own research activities that will be largely based in Ireland. However, in recognition of Soochow University’s leading reputation in research, you will be encouraged to actively engage with colleagues in Soochow to identify how productive collaborations may be generated and increase your international research portfolio.
We are all too aware that imposter syndrome and the confidence gap can sometimes stop fantastic candidates putting themselves forward, so please do apply — we would love to hear from you.
Ready to Make an Impact?
If you’re excited by the opportunity to innovate in education and research on a global stage, we’d love to hear from you. For informal inquiries, reach out to Judy Walsh at judywalsh@rcsi.ie.
