The role

We are seeking a project co-ordinator for the European Research Council Funded Reproductive Technology and Health (ERC ART-HEALTH) programme. ERC ART-HEALTH is a large international collaboration that aims to determine the effect of conception by Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) on offspring and parental health. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of coordinating research across a large number of academics from different institutions across the world. You should have excellent organisation skills and good time management. 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring that the website is maintained, promoted and kept up to date
  • Working with the Human Embryo and Fertilisation Authority (HFEA) to obtain ethical approval for a UK wide electronic record linkage study of the effects of ART conception on parent and offspring health.
  • promote and manage the ART-HEALTH research collaboration pipeline in order to facilitate submission and execution of new research ideas from university of Bristol (UoB) staff academics and international collaborators.
  • Manage project workshops and meetings with international collaborators.
  • Organising visits to the UoB of academics from other institutions for up to 12-months
  • support the PI in preparing and submitting reports for the Funder.

You should apply if

  • Have experience of supporting academics to deliver research objectives
  • Have experience of developing and maintaining a website
  • Have experience of working with relevant authorities / institutions relating to research ethics and governance
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisation skills and good time keeping
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills for communicating with people from different countries, educational and profession backgrounds
  • Can demonstrate independent thinking, such as suggesting more efficient ways of doing something, as well as working as part of a team

Additional information

Contract type: Open-ended with funding until 30/11/2026

Work pattern: Part-time/ 0.7FTE (up to 3.5 days per week)

Shift pattern: 24.50 hours per week
