About the Role
The aims of this post are to manage the co-funded scholarship schemes which support international student recruitment, increase in the number and quality of PhD students recruited to Queen Mary University of London, and to support the wider development of partnerships. Through these aims, the post holder will play a pivotal role in the marketing and profile raising of Queen Mary internationally to maximise recruitment through collaborative arrangements.
This role sits within the Global Engagement Office and the postholder works closely with the International Student Recruitment team, UK Student Recruitment, Marketing and Doctoral College teams.
About You
We are seeking a self-motivated International Higher Education professional to join our team as PGR Recruitment, Partnerships and Sponsor Relations Manager. The post-holder will play a key role in driving forward the development, management and success of Queen Mary’s international partnerships across the globe. You will have experience in building relationships with stakeholders and analysing and presenting data for decision-making.
About the Department
The Global Engagement Office sits within the External Relations Directorate and is responsible for the marketing of Queen Mary’s profile and educational programmes and the recruitment of students (home and overseas). Its function is to recruit International Students, promote inward and outward mobility options for students looking for short term study opportunities and lead on Queen Mary’s International Partnership activity. Working closely with colleagues across External Relations and our academic Schools the Global Engagement Office is comprised of over 30 staff based in London, Beijing, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Lahore and Wisconsin.
