We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Psychology for an enthusiastic Research Assistant. You will work on a project funded by the Research England's QR-Policy Support Fund for Knowledge Exchange and is led by Dr Emma Broglia in collaboration with the Student Mental Health, Counselling and Therapies Service.

Recent UK policy changes encourage higher education providers to demonstrate their influence on student mental health and academic experience.  You will contribute to the project developing a measurement tool for university mental health services, including counselling, to assess students' academic needs, university experiences, and their impact on mental health.

In this role, you will support research activities, including the development, validation, and piloting of the new measure. You will facilitate stakeholder workshops with external organisations, practitioners (e.g., therapists), and students to refine the tool. Additionally, you will create online surveys, assist with psychometric analyses, and help build and pilot electronic versions of the tool within university support services.
