The Role
This role is based in the Electronic and Analysis team within EEC. It supports our Cisco based network infrastructure found within a variety of under/postgraduate labs along with servers providing services to users.
As well as supporting physical hardware you would also be expected to provide in class support. This would be in the form of demonstrating the appropriate use of software and hardware and facilitating the self-directed learning of project students. You can find out more about the Computing Department here
While you will be based predominantly in the computing section of the Electronics and Analysis team, the role may require you to work collaboratively across several TORS teams. To be successful you will need good verbal and written communication skills as well as significant experience in providing excellent customer service.
The Department
