About the Job
As the Associate Dean of Education and Experience, you will lead the delivery of the university’s ‘Future Graduate’ strategic objective within the school. Your role will focus on ensuring academic standards and quality while addressing key areas such as participation, progression, student experience, and the successful attainment of life-changing, lifelong education and training.
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing student outcomes and implementing innovative, industry-embedded practices across undergraduate and postgraduate education. In addition, you will oversee the operationalisation of the university’s ‘Mental Wealth Programme’ and the school’s Education and Experience development plan. Success in this role will be measured through key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
As a key member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, you will be expected to drive transformational change and contribute to various broad areas, including:
This role also involves partnering with students to empower their voice, fostering a strong connection between education, applied research, and community engagement. You will also lead the development and delivery of learning, teaching, and extracurricular initiatives school-wide and through external partnerships.
