We are seeking a Research Assistant to join an exciting project investigating the role of glycosylation in Immunoglobulin G (IgG) function and placental transfer. The primary focus will be on developing an advanced cell culture model that simulates the human placenta, along with contributing to the proteomic analysis of IgG. This role offers a unique opportunity to receive training in cutting-edge techniques across immunology, proteomics, and cell biology. You will be joining the department of Department of Clinical Infection, Microbiology and Immunology as a member of the vibrant of the vibrant Bacterial Pathogenesis and Immunity Group.

You should hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant discipline. Prior experience in cell culture techniques or proteomic analysis would be advantageous.

This post is fixed term from 1 January 2025 until 30 June 2025, full-time (35 hours per week).
