Assistant, Associate or Full-Professor in Sustainability

The School of Social Sciences (SOSS) at Singapore Management University (SMU) is hiring for a new faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full-Professor) in Sustainability for 2025. We are looking for someone working on environmental policy and governance, sustainable development, or environmental sociology topics, with a disciplinary grounding in Public Policy, Sociology, or a related field. Sustainability forms a core research priority for SMU under its Vision 2025 research strategy. Sustainability is also a key focus for SOSS for our undergraduate program in Sustainable Societies as well as the Master of Sustainability (MST) launched in 2024. The School of Social Sciences leads SMU’s social science research and teaching, representing four key academic disciplines as well as interdisciplinary approaches.
