Are you a data-driven SEO enthusiast with a passion for digital marketing? Join our Marketing and Communications team as a Data and SEO Analyst and play a key role in enhancing our university's online presence. In this permanent, full-time position, you'll report directly to the Associate Director of Web and Digital Experience, taking charge of developing and executing a cutting-edge SEO strategy that aligns with our strategic marketing goals. Your efforts will significantly help to boost the visibility and ranking of our web content, contributing to our overall digital success.

Role

As a Data and SEO Analyst, you will be at the forefront of optimising our digital footprint. You'll conduct in-depth keyword research, perform comprehensive website audits, and collaborate with our Web team to refine on-page elements. Your strategic insights will drive the continuous improvement of our digital content, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of SEO best practices. By working closely with content creators, you will help shape SEO-friendly content strategies that engage and expand our audience organically.

Your role will also involve developing a robust link-building strategy to enhance our domain authority and search rankings. Leveraging tools like Google Analytics, HotJar, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, you'll monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to optimise our digital campaigns. You'll be responsible for the technical aspects of SEO, working alongside our Lead Digital Developer to ensure our website is technically sound and optimised for search engines.

Staying ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates will be crucial, as you adapt our strategies to maintain and improve our search engine rankings. You collaborative spirit will see you working with a diverse team, integrating SEO with broader marketing efforts like PPC, social media, and email marketing. Moreover, your commitment to ethical and environmental responsibilities will align with our university's values, promoting equality, sustainability, and respect within our community.
