University of Nottingham Libraries, Strategy and Planning Team 

Based at Kings Meadow Campus and any library space on the UK campuses  

Do you enjoy being organised and co-ordinating multiple strands of information from different people? Would you like to help us improve our processes and lead on the administration of new software solutions? This role is an opportunity to develop your project co-ordination and Health and Safety knowledge, working with a variety of different stakeholders and colleagues within Libraries and at the university.  

As a Senior Administrator for the Strategy and Planning team based out of King’s Meadow Campus, you’ll be supporting colleagues across the department of c260 people who work in diverse roles and different types of workspaces. You’ll support students who study in our 8 Library sites by providing proactive and reactive H&S best practice to ensure we are providing healthy, well maintained, safe and pleasant work and study environments. Another key aspect of the role will be to support the delivery of projects, many of which will directly improve the student experience in Libraries.

We’ll provide you with the training required to perform well in the role. You’ll need to work independently at times, prioritising and managing your workload effectively, whilst working with colleagues across all areas of University of Nottingham Libraries. Being able to communicate clearly and with precision is an important part of this role, good interpersonal skills will help you to deliver in this key support role.

The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term contract until 31 July 2025. Regular on campus working will be required, we're unable to guarantee fixed days for hybrid working.  Job share arrangements may be considered.
