About the role

We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to join the busy Placements team within our Faculty on a fixed-term basis until December 2025.The role is full-time 

You will be supporting placements within our Department of Economics. 

As a team we play a vital role in researching and developing opportunities to generate new placements, in the UK and overseas, as well as maintaining positive relationships with current providers and partner institutions, ensuring that services are effective and adapt to changing circumstances. You will act as a point of contact for undergraduate and postgraduate students, staff, partners and employers, taking care of enquiries and providing guidance.

This role is offered on fulltime (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis for maternity cover with an expected date of 05/12/2025 or the early return of the post-holder.

With excellent organisational skills, you will demonstrate a good use of initiative and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise a high workload. Good presentation skills are also an asset, along with an understanding of employability skills and Higher Education.
