Finance Services are looking for a systems administrator to help support the University’s Unit4 ERP finance system and other related finance software.

The Finance Systems and Processes team provide first and second line support for Unit4 ERP, system integrations, reports development, system upgrades and module implementations. As a member of first line support this role will monitor and resolve finance service desk tickets, triaging and assigning tickets to second line support as required.

This role will work closely with experienced systems developers and another systems administrator to deliver first class support and assist with future projects to agreed standards and timescales.

The Finance Services team of around 90 professionals has a wide-ranging remit. In all our work, we take great pride in providing a reliable, efficient and friendly service, underpinned by a commitment to the highest professional standards.

About you

You will have practical experience of multiple Unit4 ERP modules (such as Financials, Logistics, PCB, Administration) within a complex organisation, ideally within a systems administration role.

Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key to this role, along with strong problem-solving capabilities to understand and resolve complex issues.

Strong IT skills are required, including Microsoft Office and an understanding of database systems with the ability to manipulate data and develop reports.

As a good communicator you will be able to deliver user training, develop training videos/guides and engage with colleagues at all levels of the university.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.

This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
