A bit about the International Office Team…

The International Office is an integrated professional services unit with expert teams dedicated to the successful delivery of the University’s internationalisation agenda. The International Office supports the Academic Schools in a wide range of global engagement activities, including: international recruitment for on-campus and off-campus students, managing overseas representatives and partners, working with services across the University to support the international student journey, from enquiry and application to enrolment, as well as supporting international opportunities for students and staff across the University.

We now wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic International Conversion Officer who will strengthen our team by sharing our passion for providing continuous support to our diverse University community.

So what will the role involve?

The International Conversion Officer’s role is integral to developing and implementing a conversion strategy to achieve University’s targets and it involves:

  • To be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of conversion activities to maximise engagement across all stages of applicants’ journey;
  • To monitor and evaluate conversion performance across all markets and activities and measure the impact against agreed planned student numbers
  • To take responsibility to be the lead liaison for the International Office and CRM to ensure continuous improvement of university systems;

You will have experience of working with a wide range of statistical data to improve decision making for student recruitment and other international activities, and to evaluate the success of campaigns within relevant markets.

The role requires overseas travel.
