ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage our Technical Teams within Maths, Physics and Electrical Engineering and Geography and Environmental Sciences. These two departments produce significant research outputs and have funding from major research bodies such as EPSRC, NERC, BAS and the Wolfson Foundation. This role will manage a team of Scientific Officers, Senior Technicians and Technicians across laboratories within both of these departments, ensuring that all teaching and research activity is carried out in line with departmental ambitions. Both of these departments have aims to expand laboratory provision over the coming years, which this role will be integral in helping in delivering these aspirations.
