A unique opportunity has arisen to undertake the role of programme lead for the MSc in Advanced Professional Practice in Paediatric Dietetics

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join the dietetic team as Programme Lead for the MSc APP in Paediatric Dietetics. You will support teaching, marking and dissertation supervision for students on this MSc programme. You will have a prominent role in building and sustaining successful partnerships with the British Dietetic Association and colleagues, both nationally and international, to support the continued development and successful delivery of the masters. You will be a dietitian with at least 5 years post-qualifying experience in dietetics and education, ideally with some experience in paediatrics, although this is not essential.

You will be based at the School of Health Professions, InterCity Place, University of Plymouth.  We can also offer hybrid working as most of the work can be managed online. Some face-to-face meetings are essential, and you would be expected to travel to Plymouth periodically, as well as attend meetings elsewhere as required.

There is an essential requirement within this role that you will be required to travel to and work at different University sites and/or other business locations that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Please refer to the job description for further information.

The successful candidate may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.

Interviews are likely to take place on Wednesday 16th October 2024 and you will be notified if you have been shortlisted or not.

This unique role is based in the School of Health Professions and is a 0.4 FTE permanent contract (14.8 hours/week).

Remote working is available up to 2 days a week.
