Job Summary
The Department of Marketing, part of Birmingham Business School at the University of Birmingham, is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Professor in any area of Marketing or Consumer Behaviour on a fixed term temporary basis for a
period of 18 months.
Successful applicants will contribute to a range of teaching and supervision needs of the department delivering learning and teaching on new and established programmes and undertake citizenship and service activities in line with the
Department, School and College’s strategic objectives.
The Department of Marketing is one of the UKs largest and active Departments of its kind and has developed a strong track record of excellent quality, impactful research published in the leading international journals in the field. It comprises 46 members of staff conducting engaged research across our three thematic areas: culture, responsible and critical marketing, and marketing science and innovations. The successful candidate will contribute teaching into our vibrant UG and PG portfolio of courses.
