An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy (dependant on experience) to join our team of experienced academics delivering an innovative Pre-Registration MSc in Occupational Therapy Programme at the University of Winchester.

The Occupational Therapy Programme is part of the Department for Allied Health Professions, and the post holder will be working alongside Physiotherapists and Dieticians, led by an Academic Head of Department for AHPs. This department is part of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing so there will be the opportunity to work with colleagues from nursing, midwifery, social work, and sport.  The Pre-Registration MSc in Occupational Therapy is delivered via a blended learning approach using blocks of online learning and on campus practical work, alongside varied placement opportunities. You can find out more about our programme here https://www.winchester.ac.uk/study/Postgraduate/Courses/MSc-Occupational-Therapy-Pre-Registration-2024/

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching occupational therapy either within Higher Education or in practice, as well as experience in a clinical setting within one or more areas of occupational therapy practice and the ability to contribute to other elements of the curriculum, such as clinical sciences, leadership, professional development, and research. The post holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to practice placements, curriculum development, and multi-professional teaching and learning across the faculty.

We can consider part-time flexible working or secondment. For the latter, please specify this in your supporting statement and ensure you have your organisation’s agreement before applying.

If you have any questions or to arrange an informal conversation please contact Mandy Pike, Academic Head of Department for AHPs via email amanda.pike@winchester.ac.uk

As an employee at the University of Winchester, we are committed to your wellbeing and development. You will have access to a wide range of benefits and support including:
