We work in close collaboration with University College London (UCL) to deliver a series of postgraduate programmes. The Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) Child and Young Person’s Psychological Trainings programme is funded by NHS England and offers training in the following various modalities such as CBT, IPT-A, ASC/LD and IEYP. The Senior Practice Tutor will support the delivery of the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) modality, which aims to help trainees develop their knowledge, skills and clinical practice. Key responsibilities will include: facilitating group sessions of approximately 6 trainees, marking and feedback, preparing content for teaching sessions, and personal tutoring to support trainees throughout the course.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified mental health professional with CBT training (accredited practitioner with BABCP). Extensive clinical experience of CBT as well as providing clinical supervision is essential, particular in mental health and wellbeing services for children, young people, parents/carers and families.

Previous experience of delivering clinical training and/or university teaching and courses is also essential.

Location

Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Flexibility will be required to attend in-person teaching days during term time.

Permanent.
