Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our offices between Christmas and New Year

Location: Flexible, with minimum two days a week on campus in Hatfield, Hertfordshire

This is an amazing opportunity to join a diverse, exciting university as a Digital Experience executive, to join our dynamic Digital and Creative Experience team, working across a range of channels to deliver sector-leading digital experience for all audiences of the University.

Main duties and responsibilities

As the Digital Experience Executive, you will ensure that the University’s digital platforms are engaging, useful, enjoyable and inspire action. You’ll leverage various analytics tools and undertake A/B testing to optimise user experiences. Your responsibilities will span across technical SEO, quality assurance, and accessibility to ensure our site is user-friendly and compliant.

Collaborating closely with marketing and other teams across the university, you'll offer insight- driven recommendations to improve web journeys and conversion both during planning stages and throughout live campaign activity. You'll facilitate effective stakeholder communications, through content workflows to ensuring SEO/CRO compliance.

Staying ahead of digital trends, you'll support with design-led approaches to user experiences.

Skills and experience required

You’ll have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them within tight deadlines. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in managing web content through a content management system (CMS).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with high level of attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment is key. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who exhibits creativity and initiative, with a keen interest in digital journeys and staying updated on web developments.

Qualifications required

Degree in Marketing or relevant subject or proven professional work experience
