The Role:
The Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health is a pivotal role at our University, overseeing strategic direction and representing the Faculty at the highest levels. This senior position will require leadership and management responsibilities overseeing Heads of Schools and the Senior Leadership team within the Faculty ensuring alignment with the University vision. The Executive Dean will drive the development and delivery of the Faculty strategy achieving financial sustainability to support our University's goals reporting directly into the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost.
Additionally, you will provide inspirational leadership to academic areas, fostering ground-breaking educational partnerships and promoting research excellence. As a key member of the University Executive Board, the Executive Dean contributes to crucial decision-making processes for the benefit of the University. Other responsibilities include overseeing course quality, research impact and workforce planning. With a professional profile, this role may also involve teaching, scholarship, or research activities.
