The Project Engineer (Supply Chain Data Scientist) focuses on analysing supply chain data and developing predictive models using AI and machine learning. Key responsibilities include identifying trends, creating predictive models, and collaborating with teams to integrate these models into supply chain systems, ensuring continuous improvement and resilience. The ideal candidate excels in AI/ML technologies, data analysis, and transforming complex data into actionable insights.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Data Scientist role should have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. They must be proficient in AI and machine learning, with strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools like SQL and Tableau. Proven experience in developing predictive models and optimizing supply chain data is essential. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and a commitment to continuous learning in AI, ML, and supply chain advancements.
